Staking & Positions FAQ
1. Why is there no published APY or APR?
Rewards vary with trading-tax revenue, the Belly’s available balance, active position weights and execution conditions. The protocol makes no fixed-yield commitment.
2. What happens if I redeem my principal?
You may redeem your position at any time to withdraw 100% of your principal. There is zero exit fee or lockup penalty. The only trade-off is that redeeming forfeits the currently open meal’s unsettled share and ends that position’s seniority. Rewards settled in earlier meals remain claimable in the distributor with no protocol expiry.
3. Why can’t positions be merged or added to?
Each stake has its own seniority clock. Additional principal must open a new position and build its own seniority; it cannot inherit an existing position’s seniority multiplier. One wallet can manage multiple positions.
4. What is the minimum staking threshold?
Ordinary positions require at least 100,000 $FATCAT, limiting small positions.
